Learn More Founder's Day On January 5, 1925, Reitz Memorial High School opened its doors for the first time. Almost 100 years later, because of our alumni and friends, young men and women continue to graduate rooted in faith prepared for their next step in life, and committed to serving their brothers and sisters. To celebrate Reitz Memorial High School's rich tradition of educating young men and women, and to honor our founder, Francis Joseph Reitz, who founded this school 98 years ago, we are fundraising the entire month of December up until January! Learn More Scholarship Granding Organization Reitz Memorial High School has partnered with the Institute for Education as our Offical Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). An SGO is a state-designated 501(c)(3) that provides financial needs-based scholarships to students enrolled in non-public schools. All the scholarships that are awarded are funded by private donations, and the donor can elect to designate their gift to a certain school.
