Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
PTO is the parent organization of Memorial High School whose primary purpose is to foster communication and to support the faculty and administration as they carry out the educational mission. This organization sponsors a number of events during the school year and raises funds which help enhance the educational process. We hope that as a parent you will consider both financial and volunteer support of this school organization.
The membership is composed of parents and/or guardians of current Memorial High School students. Dues are collected for the current school year and are $20.00 per family. There are four open board meetings per school year, held in August, October, January and April. All meeting are open to the general membership and parents are kept informed via the school newsletter and other forms of communication. A student directory is distributed to all members.
Help us support Memorial High School by sending in your membership form and consider volunteering to serve on one of the various committees or serve as a committee chair. Please return your membership form to the Memorial High School main office, attention PTO.
Mark you calendars! Please join us for our last PTO meeting of the school year on April 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Media Center. We will have refreshments and prizes! We hope to see you there.
Plans are underway for the PTO sponsored Trivia Night that will take place at the end of April. This event is a wonderful opportunity to meet other Memorial parents. You must be at least 21 years old to attend. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Missy Neighbors at 812-589-5715.
